What can you do the week after the Baião in Lisboa Festival?
I’d dare to say: rest.
But the forrozeiros are indefatigable, so here are some suggestions for the incoming week, when you can dance with that Xmas scent already in the air.
As you will see, a lot of events are going to happen in the weekend, especially on Saturday night.
Nontheless, some occasions to dance are popping up during the week as well.
For instance, you might want to have a class on Monday, Dec. 11th in Marseille, or on Tuesday, Dec. 12th in Genova, or, again, on Wednesday in Vicenza or in Copenhague
But also, during the week, you might simply want to go and dance with live music
for instance in Livorno, where the Brasileirinhos do Forró will be performing
(they are a pretty interesting band, go meet them!)
And now getting closer to the weekend
Do not miss this very special event in Torino!
Diego Oliveira in concert with Fabiano Santana, plus a workshop with Anax Caracol.
A superb way to celebrate Martina Asia’s birthday.
What about the weekend then?
as I said before, it is pretty full of events, which is natural being the Saturday before Xmas.
I have taken a few and I am sorry for all those which I left behind.
In Bern, an afternoon of forró organised by Forró Vem Vem (personally, I adore to dance in the afternoon: it gives another taste to the day)
In Breslava Brazylijski koncert forró w Mleczarni, on Dec. 16th, at 20:00.
If you feel like going to a warmer place, do not miss this workshop of samba de gafieira and forró (of course) in Valencia, Always on Dec 16th, with David Bosco
In the meanwhile, in Firenze … Pé no Chão Live! Il Forró torna all’ Aurora! (check their Facebook page for more details)
and in the romantic contest of Oxford:
a Xmas Party
Finally, in Roma on Dec. 17th
As for Brasil, on Dec. 13rd they celebrate the Dia Nacional do Forró!
Can’t imagine the celebrations!

Or go to the Canto da Ema in São Paulo
In any case: Feliz dia nacional do forró!
